Add all the things into a large earthen pot and add water to such extent that all the grains and meat becomes tender. Fire should be low and do not stirr too much. Leave to heat for 2 hours. When all the things becomes soft then grind it with the help of wooden spoon hareesa is ready. While serving chop onion into fine pieces and red it in ghee and spread over it. Except of this garnishing add chopped green chili and green coriander in it.
Very delicious hareesa is ready.
